About Anonymous Proxies

Anonymous Proxies is a long-running Romanian proxy shop operated by DR SOFT S.R.L. that has been selling proxies since around 2009, which makes it one of the older independent providers still standing in a market now dominated by VC-backed names like BrightData and Oxylabs. The pitch is simple: a la carte proxies at some of the cheapest list prices in the industry, with individual IP selection by country, state, city, or subnet, and an interactive pricing calculator that lets you mix-and-match locations before you pay. It is built for the buyer who knows exactly which IPs they want and does not need a hand-held enterprise dashboard.

The catalogue is unusually wide for a small shop. Anonymous Proxies offers shared and dedicated datacenter proxies, ISP proxies, rotating residential and rotating mobile pools, rotating datacenter proxies, SOCKS5, Shadowsocks, Backconnect proxies, Trojan proxies, Smart DNS, plus WireGuard and Amnezia VPN tunnels for users who want the same login to cover circumvention. The residential pool is advertised at 10M+ IPs across 100+ countries, and all server-side proxies sit on 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps uplinks with unlimited bandwidth on the per-IP plans. City and subnet targeting is available across most product lines.

Pricing is the headline feature. Per-IP datacenter plans start around $2.20 per proxy and drop quickly with quantity and longer billing cycles. Rotating residential and mobile pools are sold per-GB instead, which is the standard model for those products. There is no public free trial — you put money in, you get instant activation — but the company does run a refund policy for non-delivery or proxies that do not work as advertised. Payment is accepted via Bitcoin, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB, Diners, and Maestro, which is a wider crypto-plus-card list than most competitors.

On the product side, the dashboard is functional rather than flashy: dual authentication (user/pass or IP whitelist), per-proxy location picking, and a white-label affiliate program that lets resellers ship Anonymous Proxies inventory under their own brand. There is no first-party Playwright/Scrapy SDK and no scraping API product — this is a raw proxy provider, not a managed unblocker like ZenRows or BrightData Web Unlocker. Support is ticket-based and 24/7 on paper, with long-tenured customers reporting good responsiveness and newer customers reporting more mixed results.

Anonymous Proxies suits the price-sensitive scraper, SEO operator, sneaker reseller, or multi-account user who wants cheap per-IP datacenter or ISP proxies, pays in crypto, and is comfortable diagnosing issues themselves. It is genuinely cheaper than Webshare on dedicated datacenter IPs in many regions and far cheaper than BrightData or Oxylabs across the board. It is not the right pick if you need an enterprise SLA, a polished scraping API, a Playwright integration out of the box, or hand-holding from a dedicated account manager — those buyers are better served by Decodo, Oxylabs, or BrightData.

Limitations worth knowing: the rotating residential pool, while large on paper, is not in the same league as Oxylabs or BrightData for sticky-session quality on aggressive anti-bot targets like Cloudflare-Turnstile-protected sites; some Trustpilot reviewers report dead IPs in batches with slow resolution; and the toolset around the proxies (speed checker, scraping API, anti-bot bypass) is thinner than the modern crop of providers. Treat Anonymous Proxies as a no-frills wholesale proxy shop — cheap, flexible, decade-old, with the rough edges you would expect from a small Romanian operator rather than a Series B startup.

Pros

  • Per-IP datacenter plans start around $2.20 with quantity and billing-cycle discounts
  • Unusually wide catalogue: datacenter, ISP, residential, mobile, SOCKS5, Shadowsocks, Smart DNS, WireGuard VPN
  • City, state, country, and subnet-level IP targeting available across most product lines
  • Bitcoin plus 7+ card networks accepted, with instant activation after payment
  • Operating since around 2009 with long-tenured customers reporting 10+ year relationships
  • White-label reseller and affiliate program for agencies wanting to rebrand the inventory

Cons

  • No public free trial, so you must fund the account to test IP quality
  • No first-party scraping API or anti-bot unblocker product unlike BrightData or ZenRows
  • Mixed Trustpilot reports of dead IPs in batches and inconsistent support resolution
  • Dashboard and tooling feel dated next to Decodo, Oxylabs, or Webshare

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Anonymous Proxies

Anonymous Proxies sells one of the widest catalogues you will find at a small independent shop. The lineup covers shared and dedicated datacenter proxies, ISP (static residential) proxies, rotating residential and rotating mobile pools, rotating datacenter proxies, SOCKS5, Shadowsocks, Backconnect proxies, Trojan proxies, and Smart DNS, alongside WireGuard and Amnezia VPN tunnels for users who want circumvention on the same account. Most product lines support city, state, country, and subnet-level targeting, and authentication is available via either username/password or IP whitelist. This breadth makes the platform a one-stop wholesaler for buyers who mix datacenter and residential traffic across different workloads.

Datacenter IPs are fast and the static assignments are stable for my long-running scrapers. Not many locations though, and you will hit blocks on Cloudflare-heavy sites.
