Perfect Privacy is a Switzerland-based VPN that has catered to advanced privacy enthusiasts since 2008. Operating from privacy-friendly Swiss jurisdiction, it positions itself at the high end of the market with a feature set built around anonymity and network-level obfuscation rather than mainstream convenience. Its server network is comparatively small, but every server is a dedicated bare-metal machine running from RAM with full disk encryption.

Its signature technology is NeuroRouting, a dynamic multi-hop system that routes each connection through multiple servers within the network and intelligently keeps traffic inside the encrypted tunnel for as long as possible based on the destination. Combined with manual cascading across up to four hops, this gives users a level of traffic obfuscation few competitors can match. Additional features include TrackStop, an in-network filter that blocks ads, trackers, and malware at the DNS level for all devices.

Perfect Privacy keeps no logs, supports OpenVPN, IPSec/IKEv2, and WireGuard, offers port forwarding, a configurable kill switch, and accepts cryptocurrency for anonymous payment. It notably places no limit on the number of simultaneous device connections, which is unusually generous. The downsides are significant: it is one of the more expensive VPNs available, the network is small, and the apps and configuration assume technical competence.

Perfect Privacy is aimed squarely at hardcore privacy users willing to pay a premium for multi-hop cascading, NeuroRouting, and unlimited connections. Budget-conscious users or those seeking effortless streaming should look elsewhere.
